Dennis C. Earl, Ph.D. graduated from the University of Tennessee with a doctorate in Hearing and Speech Science. He has practiced audiology in the Knoxville area his whole professional career. Prior to starting Tennessee Valley Audiology, Dr. Earl was the Director of Audiology for a large otolaryngology practice. Dr. Earl's areas of expertise are hearing aids, central auditory processing disorders, assistive listening devices, tinnitus evaluation and treatment and general audiology. He is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Auditory Society. He is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. Dr. Earl holds a Tennessee state license in audiology. His personal interests/hobbies include gardening and vintage motorcycles.
Patricia W. Earl, Ph.D. received her doctorate in Hearing & Speech Science from the University of Tennessee. She is certified in audiology by the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is a licensed audiologist in the state of Tennessee. Dr. Earl worked in hospital, university and ENT settings prior to opening Tennessee Valley Audiology. Her areas of expertise include behavioral assessment of hearing in young children, hearing aid fitting (children and adults) and patient education. Personal interests include old house living and gardening.
Anita Case is our receptionist and insurance specialist. She has the smiling face that greets you when you come to Tennessee Valley Audiology. Anita has 20+ years medical office experience and adds a wonderful dimension to our practice.
