-Tell others that you have a hearing loss. -Let them know to make sure they have your attention before they speak. -Speak slower. -Look directly at me (face to face communication is always easiet). -Keep background noise to a minimum turning down or off radios and TVs. -Move closer to the person speaking and position yourself so you can see them. -Sit at the front at large gatherings, such as church services or lectures. -Use an assistive listening device when available.
